Twelve geocaches were hidden in 2001 to promote the Planet of the Apes film, all containing an original movie prop.

Each geocache represented a story in which scientists told of an Alternative Primate Evolution.

Based on the Project A.P.E. Cache icon from www.geocaching.com, this micro geocoin is perfect for taking to events, traveling and collecting.

These micro are great for smaller caches as they can easily fit in film canisters as well as normal size geocaches. They are very affordable!

This geocoin is trackable at www.geocaching.com with its own icon.

Size: 1"(2.5cm) by 5/8" (1.6cm) and 3/32"(2mm) thick.
